The Estate Grill at Great Fosters

Overall I was quite disappointed with this hotel, the staff are very polite, but I was told that they upgraded me only to find out from the photos in booking.com I was actually downgraded, very disappointed with breakfast they say it's a continental breakfast but nothing more than cakes and boiled eggs and fruit, I paid for breakfast only to find out you have to pay for a breakfast? Also very disappointed with the all you can eat buffet, that was more like a continental breakfast everything cold. The service in the evening was pretty poor, asked for a drink that didn't arrive and was almost charged on checking out for it. My room was a bit disappointing, nothing in keeping with the age of the building, modern floor, paint peeling off the wall, painting all at different heights, a modern center light, lose hot basin tap, light switches all over the place, plenty of dust behind the radiator cover, and a shower that was more than awkward to use. Also the car park has bomb craters full of water in them,this hotel isn't cheap and it's one I will never return to.
