I have to admit, the overall experience had a bit of a rough start. After trying to cancel our reservation given that we were likely going to be late, we learned about the cancellation policy requiring 48h notice otherwise a £90(!!) per person cancellation charge would apply. We decided to make it and this was overall the right choice! - The food : overall, food is delicious. The amuses bouches are fun and delicious. The autumn menu we all selected was copious but manageable. Highlight for me was the scallop, cooked to perfection. Why not 5* ? The salt level... All the food was nicely seasoned but the overall level of salt was too high for our collective taste (6 adults). - the service : was great overall with excellent attention to details. We felt a little rushed at start which is understandable as we arrived at 8pm. 4* mostly due to the unbelievable cancellation policy. - atmosphere: beautiful plating, nice decor and the right quiet & upscale. Missing one star comes from the overall quietness on a Thursday night as apart our table, only 2 other tables were actually occupied.
