Manteca

Visited on a Sunday evening and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Warm, intimate, and relaxed with no wait, though seating was limited. The focaccia with house made ricotta was phenomenal. Very fresh and beautifully done. The steamed mussels were tender with just the right amount of kick. We also had the 3g truffle tagliatelle. Fresh pasta and well cooked, though the truffle flavour was quite delicate. The ribeye was okay, but arrived less hot and tender than expected, and surprisingly there were no steak knives. The broccoli was a great accompaniment. Service was fine once seated, though the host could have been more accommodating. Overall, a lovely spot with great starters, pasta, and ambiance. Would happily return.
