★★★★★ Exceptional Fine Dining — A Standout Experience in Suffolk
We had the pleasure of enjoying the Gourmet Menu at Maison Bleue for lunch, and it was, without exaggeration, the best dining experience I’ve had in Suffolk.
From the moment we arrived, the service was faultless — warm, attentive, and perfectly paced. The setting is refined yet relaxed, with an understated elegance that allows the food to truly shine.
To start, I had a stunning crab and caviar dish — fresh, delicately balanced, and beautifully plated. My partner had the salmon, which was equally refined and full of flavour. We both followed with the venison, cooked to absolute perfection, accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a sauce that brought everything together in harmony.
For dessert, my partner opted for the apple creation — light, inventive, and a perfect end to the meal — while I chose the cheese selection, which featured a well-curated range served at the ideal temperature with thoughtful accompaniments.
The amuse-bouche and petits fours were also noteworthy — elegant, creative, and demonstrating a real attention to detail.
Maison Bleue is the complete package: exceptional cuisine, flawless service, and an atmosphere that’s calm, welcoming, and quietly luxurious. A real gem — we’ll absolutely be returning.
