Invited to use the leisure facilities. Wish I hadn't. I cant comment on the wedding venue however the leisure facilities were severely lacking in any form of operational management. The gym was quiet and tidy, the only positive point. The 'cafe' area was deteriorating and staff lacking. 1 member of staff to cover the reception, cafe and gym... after not being greeted at reception the wait to heat up some food (a single scone) was agonising. The changing rooms and showers hadn't been cleaned in what appeared to be weeks, grime and dirt all over the showers and a mess of used towels in the corner giving an unwanted odour. The pool area hadn't seen any proper cleaning in what I'd guess to be months judging by the grease buildup. I would say possibly due to untrained staff. The hot tub was out of order and the sauna and steam room again were dirty as well as broken bits and pieces on the walls etc everywhere. Overall I would recommend against coming here for the use of the leisure facilities especially with the price tag of £59 per month.
