If you appreciate truly exceptional Italian food, you absolutely need to visit enotèca in St Aubin. My husband and I were so thoroughly impressed on our first visit that we immediately booked a table again for the second night! The owners are incredibly passionate about using lovely, high-quality ingredients, including local Jersey cream for their phenomenal homemade gelato. The execution of the food is easily Michelin-standard, but the vibe is entirely down-to-earth, warm, and welcoming. It’s also super flexible—you can easily just pop in for a casual glass of wine or a scoop of gelato if you aren't sitting down for a full dinner. If you do stop by, I highly recommend the almond and hazelnut gelato flavours... just wow! I also have to give a special shout-out to their wine selection. I love red wine but usually avoid it due to frequent migraines. They introduced me to natural wine, explaining how the lack of added preservatives and heavy tannins changes things. It was fascinating, delicious, and best of all….absolutely headache free! I would recommend for a romantic meal for two, meals with friends or special gatherings as they have a fabulous dining room! A perfect 10/10 experience in Jersey.
