Awabi

A very warm welcome and as a solo traveller I got a seat at the bar. The barman is amazing and the cocktail I had was amazing plus he had great chat. I went for the crispy rice salad which was unbelievably delicious and I could have had more. The cheese spring rolls and aubergine in Asian sauce were as expected. The cauliflower was good too but it could have been more crispy and less sweet as it got a little sickly to eat the whole dish. Perhaps they could provide some pickles or pickled ginger to cleanse the palate. I tried to go again the follow day but the kitchen closes well before closing time. They really do need to open seven days. Wish we had something like this on the mainland. Will be back if ever in the area.
