Criterion restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.0
Don't know what happened, this used to be a classy "only in London" type of place with incredible history and beauty. Now it is run more like a food hall...a higher end Chuck-e-Cheese. If you want a nice date spot for a classy dinner with friends.....avoid. Food is not what it once was. If you want a spot to dump off 7 or 8 kids after a long day of touring so the parents can split a SINGLE martini and ignore their screaming kids...apparently that is the new demographic? The place was full of that on all our recent visits. No one can make money when large groups share a single cocktail, thus this place keeps opening/closing/reinventing. We miss the old Criterion. Please bring it back.
