Truely lovely experience. My mum and I stayed for Christmas and it was fabulous. The house itself is a perfect country house for a stay and the staff were all outstanding. Usually when you ask for a no egg, no dairy menu you end up with a lot of fruit based desserts & the same food repeated but the chefs did an amazing job and where were always options. We were packed off with hot chocolate for a country walk and various entertainments including the wine tasting quiz meant that the time flew by. My only criticism would be that the beds are not the most comfy and there should be an easier way to adjust the room temps, they were very warm. Highly recommended
