Visited on a Saturday night on a short trip to Bristol, having visited the Little French on a prior visit and loving it. The decor here is a little less 'cosy', a bit fresher perhaps. The service was unobtrusive and efficient. The food was lovely. We had jamon iberico , whipped cods roe with radishes (this would have been easier to eat if they hadn't cut the radishes up so we could have dipped them in , but I'm nitpicking). Main courses were pork schnitzel and ricotta gnudi with roasted delica pumpkin. The schnitzel was very good and so was the gnudi but the pumpkin was weirdly quite dry so I could have done with a bit more of the brown butter sauce. Very tasty though. The vegetable side dishes were great, especially the hispi cabbage. Unfortunately we were too full for pudding. A lovely evening.
