Acleaf at Boringdon Hall restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.8
Last Thursday, myself and my partner went to the Acleaf for dinner. It honestly was one of the most incredible meals we have ever had and an evening that we will remember and cherish for many, many years. The food was a combination of art and pure joy in every mouthful, with each bite we were smiling at how good the food was. The quality of the ingredients was amazing and you even get the pleasure of seeing the faces of the people that cooked it. Not to exclude all the extra courses, bread, sweets and even games that you are given as a “thank you” from the very generous kitchen!
However, what truly made the experience was Andrea and Zoe. Andrea’s positivity is contagious and truly inspiring. When asked the reason as to why she was so happy, she replied it was due to loving her job so much. This really shows! With every dish she described, the passion behind her shone. Zoe too had this incredible passion, and they somehow made a refined experience feel like home, as if being served food by friends. Their knowledge of the food, wine and their overall dedication to giving us a special meal is what really stands out. The meal was incredible but their hard work and the service was what really made it truly exceptional.
Also, a huge thank you to Boringdons’ hotel manager Mike. He is incredibly hardworking and kind too. He made our stay at the hotel exceptional, again, a trip to cherish! He went over and above to make our stay anmazing and is dedicated to providing excellence to the guests at Boringdon. That he definitely does! Nothing is too much of an inconvenience to him.
On checking out, the Acleaf gave us an apple pastry that we said we had loved the night before as a final leaving gift. A stay can’t get much more personal than that! We were blown away, a truly incredible trip which was a slice of calm, serenity and pure joy. Thank you, we will look forward to being back very soon!
