The Water House Project

The Water House Project restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.8
Only 10 days into 2026 and there’s an early contender for the best lunch of the year.
We’d had three excellent food boxes from The Water House Project during Covid, however for some reason had never made it there to eat in person.
And this place is truly awesome…
Dish after dish of innovative food, highly technical, beautifully presented and above all so, so tasty. Each course was superb, the scallop and beetroot real standouts for me amongst many. Great produce coupled with a sustainability ethos made this a seriously fantastic meal.
Service was friendly, knowledgeable and informative and the dining room bright and airy. A cool vibe and decent music made this the complete experience.
Not too sure where the Michelin inspectors have been as this is easily at one star level. Surely this year…?
Twenty minutes walk from home, we’ve already booked a return visit to enjoy this menu again. And I’m sure WHP will become a regular favourite in the months to come.
