The Lamb at Hindon restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.2
It's a beautiful pub in lovely village setting but food a bit hit and miss. As a vegetarian I often feel we are not properly catered to. I've been here and had a lovely Sunday nut roast with all the trimmings and it was great. A proper balanced meal. This time I had a veg pie with chips, peas and carrots. The pie was full of potato and carrot!?! So I had pastry, potato, more potato, carrot and more carrot and the chips weren't great. That's not what I'd expect for a balanced vegetarian meal (where is the protein?!), but seems to be all 'chefs' can muster. Meat eaters do not seem to have the same experience. It is a lovely pub, nice friendly staff and worth a visit; just vegans and vegetarians be aware!
