The Hand and Flowers restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.4
Very disappointed, we have been very lucky to eat at a fair few Michelin Stared restaurants over the years. We were very excited at the thought of eating here as it been on our radar for a while. The food is very average and I find it difficult to comprehend how the Michelin Inspectors feel this restaurant is two star standard. At £175 for what can only be describe as Gastro food style food is eye watering and not complex cooking at all. We ate at Mid Summer House (2 star) in Cambridge a week later and the standard and quality is like night and day. I accept they are different styles of cooking however there is no comparison.
