The Golden Lion

Fantastic last minute night away at The Golden Lion. Travelling with my husband and toddler. I called on Saturday to ask which room would work for us and booked direct with the hotel. I didn’t get a name but the lady that answered the phone was great, really helpful and gave me some options. The room was beautifully decorated, bright spacious and spotlessly clean. Parking on site is in the car park behind the hotel so super convenient. Really good breakfast options and served in a lovely room overlooking the green and the sea. Throughout our stay the staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The reception, the staff at breakfast and the staff in the restaurant were all fantastic and looked after us so well. A real example of great customer service. We loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
