We went here for our anniversary and it was a surprise for me by my girlfriend. We went for 3-4 small plates as recommended on the menu, plus dessert and we were absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal! The quality of the food is excellent, with a seasonal menu and the staff are very friendly. Whilst the price is a bit high, the quality, ambiance and location make it worth the money for a special occasion. Overall, I’d give The Gaff is a solid 9.5/10, losing only half a point for the chicken small plate we had being decent but not incredible. Every other dish was perfect though! If you’re looking for a great small plates restaurant in Abergavenny, look no further!
