The Folly

My partner and I visited The Folly Restaurant for drinks while waiting for our Oxford River Cruise, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful riverside setting, with a lovely outdoor seating area that is perfect for relaxing on a warm summer's day. Although we only stopped by for drinks, they were excellent, and the service was very good. A particularly convenient feature was the option to pre order drinks for our river cruise, which we gladly took advantage of. As an added bonus, we had the pleasure of meeting Lilo and Stitch, the restaurant's 2 ducks, which brought an extra touch of charm and fun to our visit. The river cruise itself was fantastic, made even better by our guide, Reuben, who was excellent throughout. His knowledge of riverside landmarks was impressive, and he shared it in an engaging and informative way that really enhanced the experience. Overall, The Folly is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink and soak up the riverside atmosphere, and the river cruise is a highly recommended addition to any visit to Oxford.
