The Royal Oak

We have stayed here about 5 times now, we absolutely love the attic room and the village, everytime we go we hope the food might have improved but it never really has, it always lacks something and the breakfast this time wasn’t great, unfortunately i feel they try and be too different with the menu and sometimes all you want are classics that are done really well, for example no one wants brioche bread with their breakfast, or smoked trout instead of salmon, and some beans would be great too. The staff this time were the best though both the women we dealt with when we arrived and in the morning were lovely.
