Rothay Manor

After returning to Rothay Manor following our honeymoon stay, we had a completely different experience and truly saw the beauty of the grounds and felt the correct atmosphere throughout the hotel. Rothay Manor sets a warm and welcoming tone. We were encouraged to do things in our own time, which creates a relaxed and chilled environment from the moment you arrive. I highly recommend the afternoon tea, it was beautiful and wonderfully relaxing, enjoyed within the hotel’s own little bubble. I did highlight a couple of minor areas for improvement, such as a broken outside light/light switch and a dirty flannel in the shower; however, aside from these small issues, the hotel was immaculate. Rothay Manor offers a genuinely relaxing environment with rich sensory experiences, from the comforting smell of the wood fires to the dining experience, the interactions with staff, and the overall feel of the hotel and its grounds. This is a place where you really need to appreciate the small details, as the attention to detail is remarkable. The staff genuinely want to help and come from different parts of the world, each bringing their own perspectives. Taking the time to speak with them and appreciate this diversity adds to the experience. We will definitely be returning, especially for the biscuits! Thanks to Peter and the team.
