I’ve just spent a wonderful weekend based here and I was very well looked after. Service was first rate and the food was on another level. Honestly the best venison I’ve ever had, paired with a fantastic wine (Soraie). Breakfast had some great options both sweet and savoury along with great coffee, fresh juice and lots of toast. Well located a few mins from Ambleside and Coniston, Keswick is about 35mins drive and the beautiful Langdale is just around the corner so good access to fells. Room was quaint, clean and had a very welcoming feel. Well stocked bar and log burners. Highly recommended, I’ll be visiting again!
