Pulpo Negro

What a fabulous tapas restaurant. Each dish we had was totally delicious, always innovative but the flavours were so right together and everything so well cooked and presented. The menu had changed since the last time we were here, and there are about 20 dishes that would take the kitchen a little time to assemble. But even with a full restaurant (including their cellar bar) service was prompt and efficient. Dishes like the salt baked beetroot with a green garlic sauce and spiced creme fraiche, the wonderful lamb bomba, little gem salad with smoked anchovy, pregnant bread (actually little chorizo empanadas on honey and covered in grated cheese) and many more … were all so delicious and different. Cannot recommend highly enough. Lucky Alresford!
