This is a superb Country house hotel in the middle of Mid Devon. The house has more than just the 'Wow' Factor. The grade II house has been lovingly restored by the fabulous owner Tabitha with no expense spared (it feels more like a grade 2* with its history). The attention to detail here is second to none. As you approach down the long driveway within rolling Devon hills, the first impression of the house is striking. Every room within the hotel has beautiful interior design features. The staff are all so welcoming, Helen, Matt, Matthew and Kerry - as is the owner Tabitha. The dining experience is first class and felt above the three AA rosettes they currently have. The head chef James Checkely is outstanding. Beautiful canape's followed by a delicious four course dinner. Matt's knowledge of wine and cocktails was detailed and he recommended some very unique wines. The grounds are beautiful. Just WOW!
