My friend and I were planning a trip to London before Christmas, and during our research, we stumbled upon Myrtle Restaurant on TikTok. Initially, I didn’t think much of it—after all, we’re from Ireland, so traveling all the way to London just to try an Irish restaurant seemed a bit much. However, the day before we left, I happened to hear head chef Anna Haugh on RTÉ Radio One, and I took it as a sign that we had to give it a go. And wow, what a treat it was! We opted for the tasting menu, and every dish was a delight—beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that celebrated the best of Irish cuisine. The entire experience was fantastic, made even better by the warm and attentive staff who ensured everything was perfect. If you’re in London and looking for a truly special dining experience, I would highly recommend Myrtle. It’s an absolute must-visit for food lovers!
