We really enjoyed our dinner here, glad to have found such a lovely French restaurant close to home. For starters we had the marinated scallops and frog legs. Both were divine, but the scallops especially. The lemon oil dressing was delicate and complimented the scallops beautifully. For mains we had the pollock and the calf livers. Cannot comment on the livers as I am not a fan (my friend did not enjoy it as much as she wanted) but the fish.....I could eat 10 portions!! Flaky, tender and the sauce, caper and crouton garnishes were perfect. A lovely finish to the dinner was light and refreshing strawberry melba. The mocktails were not great to be honest, that is the only negative about the food/drinks and the livers. Staff were welcoming and gave great recommendations, but unfortunately a few oversights like forgetting completely about our drink orders and about one of our desserts as we also wanted to try the banana split. Overall, I would definitely come back to try more menu options. But maybe for special occasions only as it is a bit pricey. Thank you for taking care of us today :)
