Kebbells

First time visiting Kebbells and really enjoyed our meal. We were looking forward to trying the various plates we had seen on their menu so we had high hopes. We had a 12.30pm Saturday reservation and the restaurant was fairly busy during brunch hours, the service from the waitresses was good, not too much but always on hand and friendly. My girlfriend has a nut allergy and they were knowledgeable and assuring about what dishes contained nuts which is appreciated. Food was delicious and well presented. We really enjoyed all our dishes. We had focaccia and chorizo butter which was delicious, scallops, haddock arancini (so good!!!), Gambas kind prawns, pork belly & chorizo skewer and the whole lobster with frites. The stand outs for us were the lobster and arancini. The prawns were nice but tasted abit burnt and wasn’t as keen on the dressing. Scallops cooked nicely and they are nice dish. Makes a change from the usual scallop and garlic butter type dish although that is hard to beat! I really enjoyed their mango spicy margaritas, very nice. Our bill was £200 inc service so not cheap but we had some lovely food and plenty of it, it’s nice to support an independent high quality restaurant/business. Will defo return
