House of the Rising Sun restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.5
It was all fine but just not for me. This I put down to my age and not realising this is a bar that does tapas dishes as opposed to a traditional restaurant I thought I was going to.
The food was good albeit expensive (especially for Shrewsbury) with prices more in line with London.
The menu confused not only me but also the group next to us that struggled with why there weren't listed starters and main dishes. I guess the waiting staff have to explain this constantly to more mature patrons like myself.
Again, nothing wrong with this venue (good food, service and atmosphere) it just wasn't for me.
