This has been on our ‘to do' list for a long time, pending a special occasion to justify it. On that basis we said ‘yes' to everything - extra courses, the best wines, the full works. The food is great across 9 delicious courses and the prestige wine pairing was outstanding. But done that way with no holes barred this is a once in a lifetime experience at the very top end of any budget. This perhaps explains why we were the only guests on a Friday lunchtime, with all the pros and cons that go with that. Very good food, excellent service, amazing wines. But astonishingly expensive even in spite of that.
