The Grill and Smokehouse at the The Wild Boar restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.4
We stayed for one night and everything was flawless. We had a dog friendly room and was provided with a bed, towel, bowl,Matt and a treat bag with a ball and snacks in! As well as there being lots of treats available in the bar and lounge. The setting is really cosy and relaxing, wood fires and comfy seating throughout. A great bar, amazing service from all staff - everyone is so friendly. I think the drinks were reasonably priced as well in comparison to other places, and presented in a more lovely fashion (a skinny stem wine glass for me made it all that much better.)
Dinner and breakfast was very high quality. The reception lady was super professional and polite, very thorough and welcoming. We also were offered a welcome drink of moonshine! It was warm and snug the whole time, the building itself is very quaint and vintage. A really tradition inn feel. Would definitely recommend this winter period, we will be coming back!
