Fitz's Brasserie at the Kimpton Fitzroy London

Been here a few times and always enjoyed it but when I came here last Saturday night, the employee who was meant to be greeting people at the door was extremely rude. I was waiting in a queue by the entrance and the man in front of me got tired of waiting and was about to walk in when he came rushing over and told him he couldn’t just enter and the man explained to him his family were already inside and they were all was staying in the hotel as guests and he replied “well it doesn’t matter, I still need to take you in.” Then rolled his eyes as the man passed. I was up next and I said “my friend has a reservation…” and before I could even finish my sentence he barked at me “YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE TO SPEAK UP, I CAN’T HEAR YOU”. Not exactly the welcoming behaviour I’d expect in a 5* hotel. Anyway the waiter with the glasses who served us throughout the night was lovely though
