Dobson and Parnell

A lovely meal in a restaurant located on the Quayside of Newcastle. The staff were attentive and provided clarity when it was needed. We ordered starters and mains as well as alcoholic drinks. The margarita cocktails were very good, as was the pilsner however the rose blush was almost undrinkable. The food was good, aiming for the real ala carte experience bordering on Michelin style. Minimalistic combinations of tasty food. The beef Wellington sharer was a highlight and recommended. The peas pudding starter and pork belly mains were OK but nothing to shout about which was a shame as that was my meal and having tasted the groups meal I wish id opted for something else. Overall a lovely experience and we have since recommended to friends but due to the price to quality ratio I dont think we would go back but would certainly encourage others to try themselves
