The Cat Inn restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
The Cat is a fantastic public house and one we’d happily return to. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear it’s a well-run place — plenty of parking makes it easy, and the atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming.
The beer selection is excellent, with something for everyone, and the food was genuinely outstanding. A particular highlight has to be the snacks menu, which is far better than you’d normally expect and perfect for sharing alongside a drink. Everything we tried was full of flavour and clearly well thought out.
What really pulls it all together is the cosy open fire and the lovely, friendly staff who make you feel relaxed and well looked after without being overbearing. A great pub done properly — we would definitely go again and highly recommend it to others.
