We couldn’t secure a table online, so we were grateful to be offered the last available one on arrival. The meal started strong with freshly baked sourdough and chive butter — crisp crust, moist crumb, and beautifully seasoned butter that set high expectations. On the waiter’s recommendation, we chose a bottle of wine that turned out to be an elegant and well‑matched companion to the food. Our starters, warm smoked salmon risotto with brown shrimp, were excellent. Rich, complex flavours and perfectly cooked rice made this a standout dish, especially paired with the wine. For mains, we had cod and seabass. Both were cooked to perfection: moist, succulent fish with crisp skin. The cod came with a sauce carrying subtle lemon notes, while the seabass was served with steamed vegetables, fried potatoes, and a well‑balanced sauce with a gentle hint of heat. Dessert was a chocolate brownie and a citrus‑infused crème brûlée. Both were refreshing, satisfying, and a great finish to the meal. Service throughout the evening was warm and attentive, and the kitchen clearly shows real skill. We felt genuinely welcomed, and the quality of the food made the visit memorable. We’ll return at the first opportunity.
