My husband and I took a little 2 day trip to the Yorkshire Dales just before the new lockdown. We stayed one night at Aysgarth Falls Hotel, while spending the day before and after exploring the nearby hiking paths and the beautiful Falls.
We had a small but lovely and spotlessly clean room that overlooked the beautiful back garden of the hotel and had a beautiful view of the Dales. The bed was so comfy!
We had a tasty evening meal in the lovely, tastefully under stated, classically decorated dining room (I loved the chandelier made from wine glasses!).
The next morning we had a delicious cooked breakfast before we checked out, again enjoying the view from the dining room. The hotel's outdoor fountain fashioned from metal into a graceful tree dripping water fit perfectly into the spectacular view.
I would definitely recommend the Aysgarth Falls Hotel.
