Arisaig House restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.6
This place is my one absolute must-go recommendation for food. Unfortunately, I can't speak to staying here as a guest, but I imagine it would be an incredible experience. My wife and I randomly happened upon this place while looking for an early lunch. They had a private party in the works, but were extremely kind and accommodating, and served us tea while they made up a table for us in the bar. I ordered a sandwich with venison salami, some kind of sheep's cheese, and caramelized onions, along with a bowl of butternut squash soup. My wife had a salad with a some kind of cheese tart. Guys.....everything that was on our plates was made on the property. The bread was freshly baked, the squash and greens grown in the estate's garden, and the milk and cheese were from their sheep. The venison salami was hunted, butchered, and fully prepared on property. The quality of the ingredients, and the resulting food at this place, CAN NOT BE BEAT! The chef at this place really knows what he's doing, and every dish was perfect. Oh, and it won't break the bank either. Our lunch came to just over £25, which in my opinion was an extraordinary deal for the quality that we received. This amazing place receives top marks in service, food, and value, and will forever remain a find memory from our trip.
