The Scran and Scallie

This was our third day in Edinburgh, and we chose Scran & Scallie for a couples’ night out. They absolutely set the bar. It was worth the wait from start to finish—the food and service were nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Our server (whose name I regret not catching) was fantastic—attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about making the evening special. Side note: have a great time in NY next year. Thank you again! I tried their haggis—my second time—and I think it may have just become my new favorite dish. My main course was cod, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My partner started with the soup and followed with fish and chips—classic, comforting, and beautifully done. We finished with sticky toffee pudding, the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible meal. Scran & Scallie did not disappoint. Thank you to the entire team for making our night in Edinburgh so memorable.
