Opened in 2013 by award winning chef Tom Kitchin in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, The Scran and Scallie is a neighbourhood pub with an established reputation for serving quality food. With positive recognition in the years since from all the major food guides, I was fully expectant of a decent meal as I visited for lunch on a sunny June Wednesday, with my wife, her parents and our two young children....
