I did not know what to expect from this hotel but must admit to being surprised because, for the money, it was rather good. The Ritz it is not but, for the one night we stayed, it was clean, the room was a tad tired but large enough with all the amenities we required. The high point was the food with both the dinner and breakfast being well cooked and in ample supply. I had the steak for dinner which was probably one of the best I had eaten and the full English breakfast was very much to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful so, in all, a very positive experience.
