The Swan restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.4
Excellent staff, great interior and food (but no veggie options)
When we started with the menu, I noticed that there were no vegetarian, let alone vegan, options for mains, which is very unusual for a restaurant these days.
We went with the set menu and started with prawn and saffron arancini, which was delicious and flavourful. We then had grilled pork and sea bream fillet with risotto. The pork dish looked great, but I felt the fish risotto presentation could improve. Both dishes were cooked just right, and they paired well with the sides - we absolutely loved it. For dessert, we had sundae and gingerbread - both were lovely but also super sweet and a generous portion. I ordered two cocktails, and both were lovely, although one of them (sadly) had plastic straws in it.
I want to mention the staff separately as the service was remarkable. Everything happened as if by magic - quickly but with no rush. Staff were always there to help but almost unnoticeable. They chose the right time to approach our table and so did not interrupt our conversations.
Overall we really enjoyed our time here and will come back.
