The Seafood Restaurant

We booked this as a treat for my 89 year old mother, and it was a total disappointment. The service was shocking, no one bothered to check if the food was OK, if you wanted anything more to drink and at £18 for a 175ml of red wine perhaps they thought i couldnt afford it. £360 later, after waiting for ages in-between starters, mains and deserts, having to go to the front desk to ask if it would not be too much trouble could we order some drinks, even had to ask them to bring the card machine at the end so I could pay and leave. Over all the food was no better what I have eaten in local pubs. If your looking to book here hoping that the name Rick Stein means something, that you would enjoy beautiful food, good service and atmosphere and walk away feeling that that money was well spent..I would strongly recommend other restaurants in the arear as this one is just a huge disappointment.
