The Rupert Brooke restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.3
We had a really lovely experience overall, mainly thanks to Sam. His service was incredible – he was attentive, friendly, and very professional throughout our visit. Even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, he seemed to be handling most of the service on his own and still managed to stay upbeat and helpful the whole time, which we really appreciated.
One thing that did stand out slightly was another staff member with long hair who seemed quite disinterested and avoided eye contact when we tried to get her attention, which felt a bit odd. Luckily Sam more than made up for it with his excellent service.
As for the food, we really enjoyed it. The Braised Lamb Neck was definitely the highlight – beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We also loved the Prawns and the Arancini. The Scallops themselves were nice, although we weren’t completely convinced by the pairing with lentils. The Beef Shin Croquettes were probably the only dish that fell a little flat for us – they were a bit meh compared to the rest.
Overall though, everything else was lovely and we had a great time. Big thanks to Sam for making the experience so enjoyable.
