The Restaurant at The Roxburghe Hotel

We had the great pleasure of spending a few days at Roxborough Schloss Hotel – and it was nothing short of a dream! From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warmth, and that spirit carried through the entire stay: the staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind – you don’t just feel like a guest, you feel like part of the castle family. For our children, the Kids Club was an absolute highlight: lovingly run, creatively designed, and full of varied activities. The little ones were wonderfully entertained, which allowed us parents to truly relax and enjoy our time. Culinary-wise, the experience was simply outstanding. The food was phenomenal – from traditional Scottish specialties to refined gourmet creations, everything was fresh, high-quality, and served with great attention to detail. The natural surroundings of the castle are breathtaking: lush greenery, gentle hills, and the unique tranquility of the Scottish landscape. For golfers, the on-site golf course is pure paradise, perfectly maintained and offering views you will never forget. Outdoor enthusiasts will also find themselves in heaven: the castle organizes world-class fly fishing experiences on pristine rivers, as well as traditional hunting excursions that are both respectful of nature and truly unforgettable. We also highly recommend the cottages on the estate: stylishly decorated, fully equipped with every comfort, and yet full of charm. They offer privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the special flair of the castle – absolutely delightful! All in all, our stay at Roxborough Schloss was an experience we will never forget. A place where luxury, nature, fine dining, and heartfelt hospitality come together in perfect harmony. We will most certainly return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – thoroughly deserved!
