The Old Vicarage restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.7
My partner took me here for my birthday, and we had a lovely time.
We were welcomed for drinks and an explanation of the menu options before being shown to our table, which was great.
The food was genuine and flavourful, with a clear importance placed on local ingredients being used to their full potential.
A extensive wine collection, once we'd picked a bottle the helpful wine waiter was happy to recommend something "similar but different" for a second- I can appreciate this isn't an easy feat!
All in all, we had a lovely night at The Old Vicarage. All the staff were helpful and polite, and the food was exemplary.
