The Northey Arms restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.3
Comfortable character atmosphere with tasteful well presented and crafted interior. I felt the prices to be a couple of pounds to high although food is presented nicely with the right amount of time between courses, about 15 minutes. Flavour wise the food was fair. I had a burger, always a safe bet, but it was over seasoned although the made in house relish was spot on. Chips were ok but just average with 'crispy bits' indicating home cut, but higher prices should indicate trimmings are discarded not included in the meal.
My wife had place which was again fair in taste but not great value. It should be a decent amount for the money or exceptional flavour to have good value.
All in all a good experience but others might question the value. The Mint Room in bath gave slightly better value. Have eaten at the Northey Arms before and will do again.
