This was my favourite place to go for a roast but since changing owners/ new chefs… I would give the Sunday roast a miss. The price for the lamb roast was hiked up to £17, fine, but the lamb was raw and the roast in general was just poor. You definitely got your money's worth with the previous owners. The bar manager was fantastic when we spoke to him about our experience, he understood and reduced the bill since we had been fairly regular customers. I'll give it a couple of months before I come back, hoping the chefs would have improved on the roast dinner by then. We shall see!
