The Kings Head Inn restaurant reviews

Average rating: 4.4
Me and my family had the pleasure of staying here the bank holiday weekend. We have a 2 year old a 5 year old girls and they were thoroughly looked after.
Let me start by saying I’m well travelled and very picky when it comes food and accommodation.
I can’t stress enough what a hidden gem this place is.The pub itself is run by an amazing family with a great story, their staff seem like part of their family and are very welcoming. The landlord and landlady are some of the best people you could ever meet.
Moving into the food. Most of the produce comes from the farm the family own, the quality of the meat is exceptional and whoever is the head chef is doing a fine job of producing some exquisite traditional and unique English dishes.
Moving into the rooms, they were clean, with great interior design and very comfy. I liked the touch of local coffee and tea in the rooms as well.
I would like to make a special mention to Joe who is very seasoned in the profession. He was kind, welcoming and just a very knowledgeable and pleasant person.
We look forward to our next stay and will make sure to be there for the famous Sunday roast.
Thank you again x
