The Foyer and Reading Room at Claridge's

I treated my parents to the Traditional Afternoon tea at Claridge’s for their 50th anniversary. It was truly amazing. The service from the minute we arrived was so attentive and welcoming. They took our coats and our bags, then sat us down. Arina was our server. She explained the menu very well and asked us if we would like additional sandwiches, scones or cakes throughout our time there. She recommended teas. My parents had the Rare Chai and I had the Jasmine tea and the Cornish Earl Grey. We are all vegetarian and she offered diabetic pastries for my Mum. She also packed up the pastries and scones for us to take home with us. She also brought a strawberry cheesecake on a plate with Happy Anniversary written on it. I’d highly recommend visiting Claridge’s for afternoon tea. It is a beautiful place to mark an occasion and my parents and I loved every minute of it.
