The Dining Room at Poets House

All started well until the mindless waitress turned up. She was confused from the on set and matters did not improve. My partner order and was satisfied but not delighted. I ordered the lamb burger with fries. I asked to substitute the fries for a salad. Simple request. The food arrived my salad was a ramekin of onion.??? Had to ask for salad previously ordered. It came undressed and no offer of dressing. No one came back to check if everything was OK! Lamb burger very dry with no condiments? I complained to waitress she got the female manager. She was cosying up to me saying this is not us. What....this is you you fool,slack and irresponsible. No apology, no offer of a free coffee. The restaurant was empty now I know why. Left on a high note. Asked waitress if she wanted a tip! Of yes please was her cheerful reply. I told her to get a better job. She looked confused. Avoid the stupidity of the restaurant. Best bit of the evening was walking out the door.
