Review of The Black Lion – Long Melford, Suffolk ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived at The Black Lion, we were greeted warmly and by name — a thoughtful touch that set the tone for a fantastic Sunday Lunch. The team offered a lovely selection of wines and local beers, with great recommendations that complemented the meal beautifully. For mains, we chose the sirloin of beef and roast chicken dishes — both were prepared and cooked to perfection. Every element on the plate was full of flavour and clearly crafted with care and skill. Desserts followed in a traditional style, and they did not disappoint — rich, comforting, and delicious. The entire experience was a credit to the Chestnut Group. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout, striking the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. We had an excellent experience and will absolutely be returning very soon.
