I have eaten here in the past and don’t get me wrong the food is lovely but yesterday I had a reservation and I started to feel incredibly anxious and threw up just an hour before. My voice was gone due to a surgery I had not long before which probably also contributed to my throwing up so we called someone to cancel and they were not having any of it. Completely unwilling to waive the cancellation fee of £20pp so we went anyway in spite of me feeling absolutely dreadful and took up a table for half an hour and only drank tap water, it was completely quiet with only a few tables being used. I hope the person who picked up the phone to us yesterday can reason with the person who set this policy and tell them it’s ridiculous and I hope it was worth us not spending a penny and taking up space.
