Sandy Mount House

We came here for my sisters hen party. We had 16 of us. 1 of us was gluten free 1 of us was dairy and soy free and the rest of use had no dietary requirements. It appears that sandy mount bought a loaf of gluten free bread and decided it wasn't to go to waste so they would make half the sandwiches on that bread... (Horrible if your not gluten free!) Also ham and mustard sandwiches were absolutely vile and no one could finish them due to the amount of mustard on them! The rest of the sandwiches were nice but didn't go far between the 14 of us with no dietary requirements. The price paid and the sandwiches provided was not great and very disappointed that so many gluten free sandwiches... I think 2 slices of bread would have been sufficient and the rest could have been normal. However... Dealing with sandy mount to book this in was simple and easy and they were fantastic to book in. The staff on the day were amazing. Just a shame that the food was inadequate and quite embarrassing for me who organised it. The large platter in the picture is the gluten free and the rest of the sandwiches were for 15 of us to share.
