What a gem of a place! After visiting last week for their 8-course tasting menu – and wow, what an experience! From start to finish, the front of house team was absolutely fantastic; attentive and knowledgeable. The chefs, however, were the true stars of the show. Every single dish was amazing, bursting with flavour and creativity. My absolute standout dish was the Trout with Whey Cream Sauce. It was a revelation – perfectly cooked fish with a sauce that was both delicate and incredibly delicious. Truly memorable! Considering the quality of the ingredients, the artistry of the cooking, and the impeccable service, OXA offers excellent value for money. If you're looking for a truly special fine dining experience on the Wirral, I cannot recommend OXA highly enough. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Keep up the good work OXA!
